Who we Are

The Pairc Trust currently employs 1 full-time and 2 part-time members of staff, based at The Resource Centre, Kershader.

 

The Trust is run by a board of directors elected from and by the membership at our AGM. Our directors serve to provide a range of skills and expertise in driving the Trust towards its strategic aims, and we welcome people from all areas of the district.

Our board currently has nine directors who meet monthly to discuss project updates and general estate matters. Each director also takes part in one, or more, of the following subgroups: Crofting, Projects, Property, Tourism.

MEMBERS

Anyone can become a member of the Pairc Trust and we are especially keen to hear the views of all parts of our local community.

​

Members have voting rights at our public meetings, including the Annual General Meeting and the election of Directors. We will keep our members regularly updated on our plans and activities and will consult with them. It only costs £1 to join the Trust.

 

We have 3 categories of membership:

 

  • Ordinary Members – Residents and/or Crofters in Pairc

  • Associate – Non-residents or Organisations

  • Junior – Those aged between 12 & 15
