Community Benefit Fund launches!

Writer: Luke Crosland-ThomsonLuke Crosland-Thomson

The Pairc Trust are pleased to formally announce the launch of our Community Benefit Fund in collaboration with Mowi Scotland. The fund aims to support individuals and organisations based within the Pairc Estate with projects that benefit the people, place and community of Pairc. Further information on guidance, terms and conditions, and an application form can be found on our dedicated webpage for the fund.

We were pleased to support Sgoil na Pairc with funding to cover transport and accommodation costs to attend an awards ceremony on the mainland enabling pupils to celebrate their achievements. The pupils of Sgoil na Pairc recently entered the Primary Engineer competition: “If you were an engineer, what would you do?” Three pupils were highly commended and invited with their families to attend an exhibition of their work and an award ceremony at Robert Gordon University. The Trust are delighted to be able to support Sgoil na Pairc with such a great achievement for the pupils and the school.

Pictured below is pupils Ghibbs, Tianna, and Leisha with their certificates along with Stewart Davidson from Mowi Scotland and Emma Mackenzie, Estate Manager for the Trust. The pupils accounts of their trip can be read in our June newsletter.
